The display evening gives people
a chance to show off their vehicles. Visitors and exhibitors a like are free to wander
round amongst the vehicles and enjoy the canalside facilities at the Blue Lias.
Entry to the event is free, but donations and/or purchases
in aid of The Warwickshire & Northamptonshire
Air Ambulance will be gratefully accepted at the WNAA stall just inside the gate to the field
(we suggest £2 per vehicle). All proceeds go to WNAA.
If you have an interesting vehicle of any sort that you think other people would
like to see then please bring it to the next Wheels display. Use the buttons below
to register and obtain a entry number before you come.
We ask that everyone who wishes to attend registers prior to the event and joins the mailing list
in case there are any last minute changes, eg. like when the field was flooded in 2007 and we
had to postpone the event the night before. You dont have to provide an address if you dont want to
but we ask that you do provide details of your vehicle, it's class, your name and a
contact email and phone number. This is so we can contact you if you we need to and so we
have a rough idea of numbers attending and what is coming, but it is not compulsory, joining the mailing
list is the essential bit.
The 2010 event will be held on the 3rd WEDNESDAY in June, this is WEDNESDAY 16th June (

- although watch for last minute emails to the mailing list if weather as bad as 2007)
at the Blue Lias public house, between Long Itchington
and Stockton. The following Multimap link will show you
the location (actually its the PH just to left of indicated position).
For safety reasons with the humpback canal bridge near the pub please approach from the
Stockton end of the lane, but take care at the crossroads on the A426. Park in the field
immediately on the LHS as you enter from the lane.
This year there will be no voting or class awards as we do not have the manpower.
The overall favourite trophy may still be awarded, although this has yet to be confirmed.
If any of you who attend Wheels are interested in forming a subcommittee to run
and develop the Wheels event, or would like to help on the night with car park marshaling
and/or vote running duties please contact us and let us know. If enough of you are
interested we will pull together an organising group.
